Website Terms
The terms you are agreeing to by using this site, in as few words as we could manage.

Accepting these terms
These terms govern your use of searchcompass.ai. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. If you are using the site on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for it.
Who we are
SearchCompass is a managed findability service operated by BizLink LLC, an Arizona limited liability company based in Gilbert, Arizona. Where these terms say "we" or "us", they mean BizLink LLC.
The service and what it is not
This site describes a service. Nothing on it is an offer to contract, a guarantee of a result, or professional advice. Search engines and AI assistants decide independently who to name, and no provider - us included - controls that. What we commit to is the work described on the site, done properly and reported honestly.
The free findability check is a competitive benchmark provided as a courtesy. It is an assessment at a point in time, based on public information and the competitors you name, and it may become out of date. Decisions you make on the strength of it remain yours.
Billing and privacy
If you become a client, our Terms of Service govern the program itself, and our Billing Policy covers fees, cancellation and refunds. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and what we do with it. All three are part of these terms.
Acceptable use
Please do not use this site to break the law, to submit someone else's personal information without their permission, to send automated traffic or attempt to interfere with the site, or to copy its content for a competing service.
Information you submit through our forms must be accurate and yours to give. We rely on it to produce your benchmark.
Intellectual property
The site, its text, design, the SearchCompass name and mark, and the CompassIQ tooling are ours and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may read, print and share pages for your own business purposes. You may not republish, resell or use them to build a competing offering without our written permission.
Work produced for you under a paid program is a separate matter and is addressed in the Billing Policy: published content produced for you is yours and stays yours.
Links to other sites
We link to sites we do not control. Those links are not endorsements, and we are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of anything you find there.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site and the free findability check are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that anything on it is complete or current.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising from your use of this site.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the site or to a program is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. If you have paid us nothing, our liability is limited to $100.
Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or information you submitted that you did not have the right to submit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Disputes
If something goes wrong, email [email protected] first. Most disagreements are settled in a conversation, and we would rather have that conversation than a filing.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved that way will be settled by binding arbitration before a single neutral arbitrator in Maricopa County, Arizona, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction. Either of us may still bring an individual claim in small claims court where it qualifies.
Claims must be brought individually. Neither of us will bring a claim as a class action or in a representative capacity. In any proceeding, the prevailing party is entitled to recover reasonable attorneys' fees and costs.
Changes and severability
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated version.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Together with the Billing Policy and Privacy Policy, these terms are the entire agreement between us regarding the site.
